7. Mobile App Cookies

7.1 Advertising Identifiers

We do NOT use advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) for ad tracking. These identifiers are only used by our payment processor (RevenueCat) for subscription attribution.

7.2 iOS Management

• Settings → Privacy → Tracking → Turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
• Settings → 42SAFE → Permissions → Manage preferences

7.3 Android Management

• Settings → Google → Ads → Turn off ad personalization
• 42SAFE app settings → Privacy → Data preferences

7.4 Mobile Local Storage

Our mobile app stores some data locally on your device for performance (cache, preferences). This data is encrypted and can be deleted by uninstalling the app or clearing app data.

8. Do Not Track (DNT)

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Currently, there is no industry standard for responding to DNT signals. 42SAFE respects your cookie choices as expressed through our consent banner, regardless of DNT signals.

9. Cookie Security

9.1 Security Measures

All our sensitive cookies (authentication, session) are:

• Secure: Transmitted only via HTTPS
• HttpOnly: Inaccessible via JavaScript (XSS protection)
• SameSite: CSRF attack protection
• Encrypted: Sensitive data encrypted before storage

9.2 Limited Lifetime

All cookies have a limited lifetime and are automatically deleted upon expiration. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.

9.3 Fraud Detection

We use cookies and fingerprinting to detect fraudulent activities and protect your account. These security mechanisms are essential and cannot be disabled.
